Episode Redux

The hype surrounding this episode did not disappoint me at all. I love Victor and Sierra together. They're so adorable and innocent and I'd love to see a romantic relationship form between them on the show. The faux-broadcast interviews were amusing and I had a particular fit of giggles from the man who said he'd take advantages of the services offered by men if it meant one of them got to forget the next day and he was standing with his wife. What Sierra's handler did really bugged me, which I think was the point but I was cheering when Langdon punched him through the glass door :) Also, digging the fact that Ballard's cute neighbor is a sleeper agent. That was so badass!

This line was my favorite. “I’m sure I’m in serious need of some moral spankitude, but guess who’s not qualified to be my rabbi?" Go Joss!



Honestly, the Canadian Sex Acts plot was much more compelling to me than Ted's architect stuff. It was like the gang was playing a dirty version of Clue and that was awesome.

That being said, the stuff with GNB certainly moved some stuff along for Ted. I wish him and douchey ideas luck. I loved the firing montage (especially Barney having sex with the one lady before firing her).

Barney's lie about Dandelion, the fight over who is not Ted's best friend, and Marshall's fish list were also classic.

Overall, I feel quite happy with this one.




This was a great episode. They brought in Beckman! It was great to see her being her badass general self instead of hiding behind some video camera somewhere.

Also loved the switcheroo with Casey/Lester and Jeff/Sarah. Casey makes me so happy.

And the Buy More rivalry between Burbank and Beverly Hills was so entertaining.


Loved the bit about Barney wearing a mask during sex. Plus, Robin is so kinky that you know she was into that.

Skipping the dollhouse stuff for now but the himym ep was hilarious! Seriously, Lily cracked me up in this episode... and the one that followed, which I know was a repeat but it made me laugh like crazy with her taking pictures for the scrapbook.

Agreed, the Canadian sex acts plot was more interesting to me as well, but I do actually love Ted so I liked his story as well. And woo! Character progression! If it can't be for Barney/Robin, I'll settle for Ted.

On dollhouse... Meh. I'm so not into Victor and Seirra. I just can't get into any dolls with anyone.

I do however love Paul and Mellie. They're just too cute!!! Then again, I've had a huge crush on Tamoh for years :)

But oh!!!!!! Yes! That Canadian sex acts things was pricless!!! I love how at the end, they have no idea what or who she's talking about! I actually went to that website, but each time I click on a position, all i get is a picture of Allan Thicke, with a 'sorry, the site is down'.

But it was a pretty cool ep :)

HIMYM was decent last night. The firing montage was excellent.

I don't ship Barney/Robin obviously, but I still found a point someone on my flist brought up to be intriguing: the (supposedly) only time Robin and Barney have hooked up was at her apartment, and yet he thought that he was the "celebrity" that lured her back to his place. Minor slip probably, but it could definitely be interpreted as them having been doing it this whole time without us knowing. ;)
