001. What got you shipping Spike/Willow in the first place?

I would say that School Hard, aka the first episode Spike ever showed up in, piqued my interest in the possibility of this pairing. When he goes to kick in the closet door, I remember feeling little thrill that he'd find Willow and do deliciously naughty things to her. But since that didn't happen, I started looking for fanfiction. I'd already been involved in the reading part of fandom from the Buffy/Angel stories I'd been reading, so it wasn't too hard to find. Laure Alexander's "Erotic Adventures of Willow and Spike" really sealed the deal for me on this pairing. I was hooked and so squealed with joy every time Joss and the other writers gave me a glimpse of something betweeen them.

002. What sort of things inspires you to write or when your writing?

I have to say that I've gotten some inspiration from my own experience, but it's mostly just ideas that pop into my head. I'm a big fan of the "what if" scenarios and I have incredibly smutty mind. So when you put two and two together...you generally wind up with the formula for a lot of my fic.

003. if you could make one pairing into Canon, which would it be? If you could undo one canon pairing which would it be?

I have to say that this is a bit tough for me because I really love unconventional couples and almost prefer their stories to play it the way I want them to in my head instead of on the show. I also tend to suck at just picking one thing anyways, so that rule tends to get broken a lot when I do these things.

That being said, Willow/Spike would probably be the pairing I'd pick for Buffy, Fred/Spike or Spike/Lindsey for Angel, and Barney/Lily (yes, I'm evil) for How I Met Your Mother.

If I could undo a canon pairing...hands down it would be Spike/Buffy. I loathe that pairing more than any other.

004. Whats you biggest fandom squick?

Probably mpreg and watersports. I just don't get the appeal.

005.Whats you favorite sort of fic to read?

I love stories that feature my favorite pairings, that feature awesome smut (slash and het!), and that feature dark/angsty concepts. I also have a habit of reading just about anything that the authors on my flist post because I like to support them. I can't read them all though since some folks have different fandoms than me and I have no idea what is going on. But I try sometimes. Especially with Supernatural.

I think I'm okay with the SPN craziness. I just wish I felt more compelled to watch the show. I've seen 2 eps from S1 and it just didn't do it for me. But I love that other people love it...if that makes sense.

I will say this for SPN. It takes like half a season to get good. It's not bad before that, it's just nothing special... but then in the middle of the first season it starts to get REALLY good... and then at the end of the first season... pzzzow!
