otempora42 who gave me 'artwork, chocolate chip cookies, fire, fairly oddparents, heroes, spike, and the renaissance.'
Artwork: There's something truly mesmerizing about gliding through an art museum and treating your eyes to splashes of rich color and emotion. I was absolutely stoked to visit the National Gallery in Ireland because it meant I got to see original Rembrandt pieces for the first time ever. My most favorite artist though is Degas. I could stare at his ballerina pieces all day long.
Chocolate Chip Cookies: As one of my friends told me, chocolate chip cookies are like porn. You know when you've found a good one. ;P My ideal chocolate chip cookie is slightly crunchy around the edges with a soft, chewy center that just dissolves so sweetly in my mouth. Mmmm...
Fire: Fire fascinates and scares me. I love sitting around a bonfire with my friends and just watching the flames flicker as the smoke curls and twirls through the air. I also love candles and have a nice little collection growing. The little flame amuses me just as much as the big one. To touch on the scary part, I'm absolutely terrified of being in a house fire someday. I can get pretty paranoid about that.
Fairly Oddparents: A randomly adorable cartoon that makes me giggle. I love the episodes that feature songs because they're always so catchy. Out of all the characters, I think the Fairy Godparents (aka Cosmo and Wanda) are my favorites.
Heroes: When this NBC drama first came out, I was hooked. I found the characters fascinating. I loved the development of the characters and the way they dealt with the powers. I thought Sylar was a super hot villain. As the series progressed, however, I found it harder and harder to stay invested in the show. It dropped from my list officially after Season 3 and I don't miss it.
Spike: Humina Humina. Ever since "School Hard" first aired on the WB, I was drawn to this sentimental bad ass. His cocky sense of humor, his approach to Drusilla, his accent, his cheekbones, and that black leather duster made me fall in love instantly (and made me want to shag him too!). I was a little frustrated by the way they defanged him once S4 came around but at the same time, I was able to appreciate some of his development as the series (and season 5 of Angel). I ship Spike the hardest with Willow and Angel(us) and Fred comes in as a close third.
The Renaissance: Is a period in history that I'm quite enamoured with. I spend a good chunk of my weekends in the summer trying to relive this period at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. I realize that my costume choices at the Faire I attend have little to do with cultural accuracy but I don't really give a crap because they're fun and I look hot!
