I had a fairly interesting weekend.

For starters, I was able to knock out the entire 13 episode season of Kitchen Confidential (the sitcom Nicholas Brendon joined shortly after Buffy ended.) It's a bit bumming that FOX canceled the show as I found it incredibly funny and the cast was great (Bradley Cooper, John Cho, and John Francis Doyle were all stars.) I think I'm going to pick up the autobiography it was based off of though. I imagine its quite entertaining if the show is an accurate reflection of it.

On Saturday, I went out for dinner with my family to celebrate my sister Katie's 29th birthday. I had this delicious wild mushroom and herb ravioli topped with alfredo sauce. It was heavenly. :D
After dinner, we watched (500) Days Of Summer. I found it cute and quirky and look forward to watching it again.

On Sunday, daylight savings time robbed me of an hour of sleep but I made up for a little by sleeping in until 11:15. I feel pretty happy about my productivity as I was able to read a chapter for the Theories class and wrote the first draft of Mission X Chapter 7. I also got my dishes done and bought these yummy little ice cream cookie sandwiches from the store.

That's it from me for now.

Later gators.

My brother & I still talk about Kitchen Confidential from time to time. I haven't watched it in a while, but it was definitely enjoyable.
Fox jumps the gun on canceling waaay too many shows *cough*Firefly*cough*

And I didn't know it was based off a book - I might need to check that out.

You can watch the whole thing on hulu.com right now.
And apparently, FOX only ever aired four episodes so it's lucky that all 13 got released. I say way to go, HULU!

The guy who wrote the book had a travel show. It's called "No Reservations" and is one that I particularly enjoy. He is snarky.

I found that out tonight as I did some searching for the autobiography. He also wrote several books about mobsters in Little Italy.

Damn - wish we had HULU in the UK. I always have to download everything. I'd love to see Kitchen Confidential. Bah.

I'm so downloading Kitchen Confidential now! I catched a few eps on TV a while back but I couldn't watch all of it.

Sounds like you had a nice weekend. Spring laziness has settled over me, I envy your productivity. :D

Yay, I'm so happy you guys are watching Kitchen Confidential! I'm so glad I found it on Hulu and got into it.

And I'd like to read the autobiography, too. I LOVE Anthony Bourdain (No Reservations is really good) and it sounds really interesting.

Yay for a good weekend!

I'll have to see if the library has Kitchen Confidential. FOX is notoriously bad about axing shows when they shouldn't.

You definitely should.

And I'm really not this productive. It just sounds that way. ;P

Well, if you can't find it at your library, you can at least find all the episodes at hulu.com.

Who-hoo for an awesome weekend! Now I'm thinking I might check out Kitchen Confidential...

Daylight saving times sucks. I still don't know where 2:00am went. It boggles my mind just a little. :)
