Why the fuck can't we just care about people? Why the fuck does shit happen? And most of all, why the fuck aren't politicians giving a rat's ass?

I've always believed that homosexual couples should be entitled to the same damn rights that heterosexual couples have. And I hate how much this country really sucks sometimes.

Something like this could happen anywhere. Until gays are given the same universal rights that straights have, this will continue to happen in the US, Canada and elsewhere.

I think this is a complete outrage and you know what even if Clay wins his lawsuit, the real tragedy is the fact that what the county did to him was criminal yet I'd lay money on the fact that the people involved won't see the inside of a criminal courtroom over this.

It sounds like he's got some pretty good representation on his side. The people who did this may not see a criminal courtroom, but it's small beans compared to the legal precedent that will be set in regards to proper handling of power of attorney and wills in the case of gay couples. Good luck!
