I would like to apologize for my severe lack of writing fic and returning comments to people these last few weeks. I thought once I finished the NCE that things would be easier, but apparently, I've been very sadly mistaken as my life seems busier than ever.

For me, summer is going to turn into one of those mythical things where I'll be lucky to get a week off.

That sucks. My DH has a non-academic job, so I get to gloat when he gets only one week off in the summer. On the other hand, he gloats the rest of the year, when he's done for the day by 5 and has weekends free, and I'm slaving away.

Well, professorship is something I'd like to pursue. But I feel a break is needed right now.
