TV Meme - Day 5 - Two and A Half Men

I have to say that in the interest of my own personal language, I'm changing this day to a "show I strongly dislike." That being said, it occurred to me that I could pick just about any reality show out of a hat and talk about how I frequently find the motivations of the people who appear in them vapid and annoying because they're just so damn desperate for paparazzi attention that they'll do just about anything to get on network TV.

But last night, right before hitting the sack, another show came to mind that fits the "strong dislike" category and that show is:

Two and A Half Men.



ETA: I really don't have anything against the little kid. But as friends have pointed out to me, Charlie Sheen is a GIANT asshole and I've always felt that Jon Cryer leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He comes across as being snide and arrogant and that just pisses me off. Not only that, but this show isn't funny. It just feels dry, boring, and cliched.

I'm sorry if I've offended anyone who watches it. But I just can't get on board with this crap.

I have not liked Jon Cryer ever since he was in Superman 4. Yes, there were plenty of things wrong with that movie, but his character deserved to be spaced like Earth's nuclear arsenal was right into the sun. Poof.

I sat and watched the last 10 minutes of what I think was the season finale last week. It was only like 10 minutes and it was already getting on my nerves. It's not funny at all, none of the characters seem likable. Why is this so popular?

And yeah, both Sheen and Cryer annoy me, even though I don't know that much about either.
