Lame magic tricks do not impress girls. Not even geeky, frizzy-haired girls who call themselves Hermione and act like they’re some hot-shot witch from a Harry Potter novel.
For starters, she corrected his pronunciation of Abracadabra by insisting the emphasis should be placed on the DA instead of the CA. Then, she had to attack his flower napkin trick by pointing out the crooked alignment of his petals and asking him whether or not he bought his wand at Zonko’s instead of Ollivander’s.
‘Course, that made him drag her into the bathroom and show her exactly where his wand came from. Turns out, that was the only magic trick he needed. (Heh. Heh.)

Goliath National Bank believed in Casual Fridays, citing them as Employee Enthusiasm Events and insisting they promoted the positive welfare of their organization.
Marshall and Ted, to no one’s surprise, got excited about such days as it meant they could come into work in polo shirts (or in Ted’s case, hideous Hawaiian floral) and they would ramble on about how awesome it was to be free of the constraints of suit-dom.
Barney, on the other hand, still wore a suit, which Ted tried to argue with even after Barney insisted that it was Ralph Lauren and thus, could be classified as casual and also, way less lame than girly floral.
As far as Barney saw it, he was the victor in this contest and Ted could just suck it…underneath his desk after lunch! (High-Five!)
