There are plenty of great episodes in Season 1 (Zip Zip Zip, Pineapple Incident, etc.) and it's really hard to pick just one, but I'm going to try. Not only that...I'm going to let you in on my guilty pleasure episode from this season.

Belly Full of Turkey

Here's why: It's a solid and funny episode that still shows us the heart HIMYM has.

We're finally introduced to Marshall's large Minnesota family and get goofy ideas like Baskiceball (because iceketball just sounds silly). We get to see a lot of Lily's insecurities come to the forefront and we get an incredibly sweet LAME moment that deals with how a baby might affect their lives. We get to see Barney acting "noble" (even if he's really doing charity work because he peed on the wrong building). And of course, my personal favorite moment...

Ted's fake-out with the stripper at the end of the episode. LOL.

Oh, good CHOICE. That's a superb episode! I must rewatch season 1, because seriously it's so packed full of awesome episodes.
