not_purrfect who wants the characters: Oz, Giles and prompt: Chewed Up Library Books
Giles noticed the new library décor first. Bits of confetti sprinkled across the floor and lodged into all kinds of nooks and crannies. As he shuffled through the clutter to unlock Oz’s cage, he spotted a larger piece stuck in the bars. It fluttered like a wing as he got closer, trying to free itself.
When he noticed the writing, his eyes widened in horror. This wasn’t just some teenager ripping up notebooks in a moment of frustration. They were books! Sweet, precious books that lost their lives to fangs and claws. “Oz!” His tongue clicked as he tried to swallow down his anger.
Oz blinked, looking fairly zen despite the chaos he’d woken up to. “To the casual observer, I’d guess that it’s not a good idea to put books in the werewolf cage. Might wanna let people know.”
