Women and Stomach Cramps
Nov. 11th, 2010 11:26 amAshley Spinelli from Recess
Personality-wise, I was always more of a Gretchen in school, but there was something about Spinelli that appealed to me. She was rough and tough and stubborn as hell. She doesn't take anyone's shit and she refuses to be one of the Ashleys just because she happens to share their name.

I opted to stay home from work today after I woke up and immediately doubled over from intense stomach pains. I wager it likely has something to do with the amount of cheese I've been eating lately so I've decided to make a good faith effort to cut back on the cheese and add more fiber and fruit to my diet.
I can't say this is a choice I make happily since I'm a born-and-bred Wisconsinite with a family lineage that contains several cheese makers, but the pain is unbearable so sacrifices must be made.
In other news, I'm halfway done with A Very Potter Musical (loving it!) and I'm reading Mark Reads Twilight for it is snarky commentary that expresses much of my feelings towards the series.
Finally, Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served in the armed forces.

on 2010-11-11 08:18 pm (UTC)Spinelli is AWESOME. I loved her on Recess, and I too loved that when it was revealed she was an Ashley, she ultimately decided she was going to keep being herself. <3
Yay AVPM! I knew you'd love it. I don't FIND it surprising at all! :)

It'll take about three hours to watch and then there's a sequel they made for it as well.
