Yup. I enjoyed it. It was good at explaining how/why someone slides down that slope without blaming everything on the media. It focuses on the positive/negative attentions, reactions, and emotional responses that "loose" actions generate.
As you know, I read American Gods in Italy and I was so glad that I had unlimited time to read it. It was very hard to put down. When I get my holiday wish list together, you'll see a few other Neil Gaiman books on it. :)
