When she spoke of her descent into darkness, Wesley couldn’t help but wonder what could have existed between them.

He imagined the places they could take each other. He wanted to make her burn for him. He wanted to make her understand his desire. He wanted her thoughts to be consumed by him and only him.

He imagined that they would tear each other apart until there was nothing left to give.

His fingers brushed against her hand and felt the magic coursing through her veins. He remembered why she was here and pulled his hand away. Perhaps, another time.

“Niblet, I don’t get your obsession with this Christmas thing. I’ve had 150 years of Christmas mornings and they’ve all been anticlimactic. Well, except for that one time in Lisbon when Dru and I feasted at the orphanage. All the little tykes with their bright eyes and holiday wishes. It was a Christmas to remember.” Spike sighed contentedly as he thought of the old days.

Dawn’s nose wrinkled and she stuck out her tongue. “You’re no fun, Spike.”

“I am so fun. I even got you a present but if you’re gonna act that way than I’m gonna keep it.”

Dawn stuck out her bottom lip and pouted. “Like I said, you’re no fun.”

Spike grinned and tousled her hair. “You’ll get it when your big sis comes home, all right?”

Dawn smiled and rose to her feet. “If we’re waiting, how ‘bout breakfast? And you can tell me again how anticlimactic Christmas is for you.”

These were great hun. I liked both of them, the first makes me think of what it would have been like if something had happen between Willow and Wes. And the Spike and Dawn one was cute, portrayed their relationship very well.
