She’s like poison ivy. She’s an itch he can’t stop scratching. An itch he doesn’t want to stop scratching. He knows just how dangerous she is and he doesn’t care.

He can feel the heat between her thighs like an all-consuming rash. It takes him over, possesses him, makes him feel dizzy, crazy, out of his mind.

“Joyce.”

Her name is like a sin on his lips as he pushes inside her, velvet clutching him in a vice-like grip. He hasn’t felt a woman this way in a century. It should feel filthy, dirty, wrong. He’s supposed to love Buffy, be with Buffy, but fuck, he just can’t stay away.

And one day, the burn will just swallow him whole.
