Snogged's Grad Class Filter

I'm going to be creating a filter for my thoughts and feelings towards the graduate class I'm taking this summer.

The class is titled: "Family: Assessment of Abusive Behaviors" and so I will mostly certainly be talking about issues that are very often troubling and disturbing to many folks despite the sharp reality of their existence.

I have no interest in forcing people to read this stuff hence my decision to create a filter and to give people the opportunity to be on it if they are willing.

Basically, I need to rant, scream, and maybe even cry. And the last thing I want to do is force people to listen to it so if you're interested (and willing to be a part of it), please leave a comment and I will add you to the list.

If you're not, I won't be mad. Because I get it. I'd rather not be a part of this mess either. I just know I need a safe place to express myself and that's part of why I got an LJ.

ETA: Feel free to throw lots of love and hugs at me for the next six weeks (even if you don't sign up for the filter)

Part of why I got LJ too. You sure you won't be mad? I don't want you to hate me if I say I don't want to read it because I'm in such a bad place myself. You will still be my friend though right?

That's one of the biggest reasons I created this filter.

I wanted to protect my friends that would be bothered by it. Hell, I'm bothered by it but in order for me to take care of myself, I know I need to process it somehow and have people willing to talk about it with me. I get that it won't be everyone and I'm 100% COMPLETELY OKAY WITH THAT

This is a really tough class that stirs up a lot of crazy shit for people. I mean, we're basically immersing ourselves in the dark side of this crazy mixed up world of ours and that's gonna be tough as hell
