You sat behind in me in 8th grade English class, but that never stopped me from turning around to look at you.

In terms of middle school cliques, you were one of the jocks, one of the popular kids. I really had no right having a crush on you, according to the school hierarchy, but you were nice to me. It didn't hurt that you had gorgeous blue eyes or arms that looks so solid and strong that I longed to be held by you.

But it wasn't meant to be.

When I asked you to the school dance, you rejected me and instead went with Amy Anderson, queen of the bitches.

All I can say is: sucks to be you.
