Day 26 — The last person you made a pinky promise to

Dear Meme:

I really wish I could remember, but I can't. I also don't remember the last person I said "cross your heart and hope to die" too.

Day 27 — The friendliest person you knew for only one day

Dear Elizabeth:

I met you at the Bristol Ren Faire this summer. You were dressed in the most impressive gown I'd ever seen and I couldn't help but stare at you every time you walked by. It wasn't until halfway through the day that I saw you in the Fairy glen and made a point to actually talk to you. I wanted to tell you that I thought your dress was lovely. Once I did that, we spent the rest of the day walking the Faire together. We danced during Drum Jam. I laughed when you turned down Loki's advances. And I hugged you at least six times before we parted ways.

Thank you for giving me such special memories. Hope you're doing well.

I'm pretty sure that out of all the movies currently playing in the theater, it probably wasn't the best idea to go see No Strings Attached with my parents. There were several points during the film where I shifted over as far as I could in my seat just because I felt really awkward to be there with them. I mean, this isn't the first time I've seen this type of rom-com with my parents, but at least when we saw Knocked Up together, we were able to talk about it at dinner afterward.

LOL. Yeah, I bet seeing No Strings Attached with your parents would be awkward. That aside, how was the movie?

I enjoyed it.
I felt the second half was a lot stronger in terms of good movie-ness though.

Oooooh boy. I also saw that movie this weekend, and I was sitting next to my brother. *cringe* Let's discuss tomorrow.

That sounds like a wonderful day at Renn Faire!

There was some definite cringe-worthy stuff in that film.
*hugs*

There're things that just aren't meant to be done with the parents. :D How was the movie though?

For the most part, I enjoyed it.
There were a few things that seemed highly unnecessary though.

Great letters!

Note to self: add No Strings Attached to list of movies not to see with parents...

Is it worth downloading and watching at home though?

Parts of it are.
It was a bit too raunchy for my tastes though (and before you ask, I adored the American Pie trilogy.)

Definitely understand why you wouldn't want to see it with your parents then!

The whole friends-with-benefits thing is so overdone with movie plotlines though...and it almost always ends up with the two characters realising that they love each other in the end!
