Dear Mrs. Thompson:
Before I took your high school-level psychology class my sophomore year, I was positive that I would go off to college and become a lawyer.
But then you told my mother and I that I showed promise in that field of study. You encouraged me to take AP Psychology and before I knew it, I was declaring psychology my major at the very first orientation meeting I went to once I got to college. I've still maintained an interest in law and Ethics, but it was your acknowledgement that got me where I am today. Which is to say that I have a Master's degree in Community Counseling.
Thank you,
Ann
In other news, I'm bored as a gourd at Power Packer today. I've completely run of out of projects and although Kari promised to give me more stuff to do, she hasn't delivered yet. :/

on 2011-01-31 07:22 pm (UTC)I'm currently in that trapped position now between deciding my future career. I've been wanting to get into law since I was 12 but I'm doing a psychology paper at school next year, and that just might change my mind...
