It would have to be a tie between Joe Walker and Joey Richter.

In Joe Walker's interview, we got the following exchange, which when matched with Joe Walker's facial expression is freaking priceless. Plus, it reminded me of the How I Met Your Mother "rabbit or duck" discussion...which, by the way, I recently learned that HIMYM episode grows on you over time.

Snape: Would your favorite animal be a chicken or a duck?
Joe Walker: A duck..
Snape: QUACK!
Joe Walker: …..

I also liked this bit:

Joe Walker: “I’m a dick.”
Snape: “Yes.”

Then, in Joey's interview, this exchange happened:

Snape: “This morning when I woke up..umm… there were cookies.”
Joey: “Shut up.”
Snape: “Yeah. Right there.”

Plus, Snape made a shit-load of Friends references because he thought Joey Richter was Joey Tribiani (sp?).

First things first, I scored the temp job at the law firm so I start that tomorrow. I'm positively looking forward to this. I'm also looking forward to my Thursday evening which will be spent with my good friend, Sabrina, watching the So You Think You Can Dance premiere.

Second things second, I had the interview with Northstar today for the adolescent day treatment program. I'm glad I interviewed with them, but at the same time, they're currently in last place (even below the state who hasn't called me to schedule an interview yet). Here's why: they would only hire me on for 6 hours a week, despite the fact that their program is 22 hours a week. Four of those hours would be spent working with the kids and two would be spent in supervision. I would drive the hour there for 22, but not for 6.

Also, the interviewer made me feel guilty because I graduated a year ago. He kept asking me: "What are you doing?" "What are you doing?" I had to explain to him twice that it had been a tough road and I was keeping myself occupied and on top of my game by volunteering my time with Teen Court and working for the Autism Project and for Qualitemps. For a guy who kept insisting his program was dynamic and feelings-oriented, he didn't really seem to have a clue about how I was feeling.

Third things third, I'm going out for a belated birthday dinner with my folks tonight. YAY!

Yay for the temp job!

That guy from Northstar seems like a jerk! (And I now have scenes from Meatballs stuck in my head...did he look like Morty?)

Enjoy your dinner!

I'm so glad you got the temp job!!!!

As for the interviewer... ASS!!! I hate people in the field that are clueless like that! It doesn't sound like the place for you IMO.

I hope dinner is yummy... have a great time with the folks!!!!

Okay... is that guy completely unaware of what's happening in the United States economy? Or did he just fly in from Bora Bora?

Kinda seemed that way.

Plus, he was way too narcissistic about the fact that his day treatment program was the first one in the state.

I checked out Meatballs in a search quick (as I've never seen that film) and I can assure you that Ben did not look like Morty.

Dinner was super yummy and mom and got me a really pretty cardigan for my birthday along with a $25 gift card to Kohl's department store.

I can assure you that Ben did not look like Morty.

That's a blessing.

How wonderful! You seem to be having a delightful ongoing birthday!

That guy who interviewed you? What a dick! I can't believe that. Really, is it so UNUSUAL for people to be struggling to get the perfect job???
