The Boy Meets World watching continues...albeit slowly. I really wish Netflix would put the show on instant queue or at least send you the whole season instead of just seven episodes at a time. Once I watch the next disc, I intend to do more of a recap, but just know, that I'm loving it so much. :)
Of course I do.
When I sing or hum the words to "Coolest Girl," I feel my confidence start to grow. When I have to tackle something big, I can always hear "Status Quo" and "Kick It Up A Notch" in the back of my head (so sometimes I have to sing those lyrics out loud too.)
Also, I enjoy Red Vines way more than Twizzlers. :P
ETA: Back in February, I sang verses from "Voldemort Is Going Down" to help rally the folks I was protesting with. I thought the words really reflected what was going on with our asshole governor.
I'm sure there are more examples I could share, but my brain appears to be a little mushy at the moment. I suspect...lack of sleep.
And now for a meme I snagged from

• Comment with "come at me, bro".
• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1. If you could choose which century to live in, what year would you pick?
Woah. This is an incredibly broad question. Given that each century has 100 years, choosing just one of those seems almost impossible. Now, if I were to choose a decade instead, therefore breaking off from the question itself, I would probably choose the '60's. I recognize that it's not the most perfect decade and certainly has it's fair share of atrocities. But I love the music that came from that era. I love the Second Wave Feminism movement that took place in that error. I love that people got worked up and protested and made people listen to what they had to say.
I also would have loved to see Woodstock. :D
2. What're you're favorite top colors?
Favorite colors: dark blue, forest green, crimson red, and purple.
3. What is your most favorite fandom?
The BtVS fandom.
As much as I love HIMYM and the folks I've met there, I've also felt that it's a lot more difficulty to stay connected within that fandom. Once Season 5 rolled around, it seemed like so many people just stopped caring and that made it harder and harder to participate.
I've also struggled with the HIMYM fandom because it doesn't have the rare pairings appreciation that BtVS seems to have. I love writing stories about Ted/Robin, Marshall/Lily, Lily/Barney, (just to name a few), but it always feels like the only times people outside of my friends list comment are when I post Barney/Robin fics. As much as I love BroTP, I don't always feel inspired by them.
4. What is your favorite kind of weather?
Sunny and cool. Give me moderate to high 70's and I'm a happy gal. :)
5. What is your favorite holiday?
Halloween. I don't care if I'm old. I still love to dress-up.
Of course I do.
