26 – What is the oddest (or funnest) thing you've had to research for a fic?
I don't really do a lot of research outside of rewatching certain episodes of the show I'm writing for or checking out various websites devoted to the timelne and characters of the fandom.

I have looked up the details of an occasional sex act though just to make sure it's feasible. Don't really consider that odd though.

27 – Where is your favorite place to write, and do you write by hand or on the computer?

Favorite place to write is at my computer (either at home or at work, especially if it's a temp job where I'm not expected to do much besides answer the phone.)

28 – Have you ever collaborated with anyone else, whether writing together, or having an artist work on a piece about your fic?

I've done several collaborations with writers, most notably: [livejournal.com profile] idioticonion, [livejournal.com profile] secondmezzanine, and [livejournal.com profile] magpieinthesky. I've also had artists inspire my work, most notably [livejournal.com profile] rua1412.

I've managed to see Harry Potter twice now. Once by myself at the Thursday midnight showing and once on Friday with friends, also at midnight.

Seeing it by myself was interesting. The showing was in 3D and there were a ton of teenagers there and I wound up sitting next to a high school senior who claimed to be a Hufflepuff. He was a decent guy and kept me entertained while we waited for the movie to start.

I found the film itself to be very satisfying. I cried my eyes out, managed to laugh a little, and joined the crowd in several rounds of cheering throughout the film (the Hermione/Ron kiss and the Bellatrix/Molly battle were the most notable moments for this type of participation.)

Friday night, I saw it again (2-D this time) with Kit, Rose, J., and Nick. This time, we saw it at a theatre in Milwaukee that only serves the over 21 crowd after 7. We all got free popcorn with our tickets and I ordered a drink called a "Harry Potter." They also had Butter Beer, Voldemort's Dark Side, and one other one on their menu. The "Harry Potter" had raspberry vodka, Midori, sour, and Sprite, cost $7, and came in a pint glass. That's my kind of cocktail!! The seats were huge and the armrest even went up so that Nick and I were able to cuddle. :P

Unlike HBP (which I ended up seeing 4 times in a week because of promises made to friends), I thought 7.2 was well worth seeing twice in a row. In fact, I think I'm ready to see it again. :D

I think it's so cool that you've been able to collaborate with other writers.

I don't usually see movies in 3D because they give me headaches and I wear glasses, so the 3D glasses cause weird reflections. Sadly, both of the theatres in my town only have it in 3D. Even so, I loved it too! I thought I was going to get away without crying, but then Sev died and I teared up. And then Harry watched the memories and I completely lost it and began to sob (quietly, much to my relief). I also clapped at the Ron/Hermione kiss and when Molly kicked Bellatrix's ass. =D It was a very fun night and totally worth the eleven dollars and the headache afterward. I think I'll be seeing it again.

I haven't seen the last Harry Potter yet. That's the problem with living in a small town. We probably won't get it for another month. *sigh*

I can't believe it's the very last HP movie. It seems kind of sad.

Are there no towns close by you could go to?

Not unless I want to travel for a little over two hours. And in this heat....(car doesn't have ac)

I'll just have to be patient until the movie gets here.

I've seen it twice now as well! So wonderful the second time when you can pick up more!

That cocktail sounds AMAZING.

P.S. I've loved each and every one of our fanfic collaborations!

I just saw the movie yesterday! I really liked it. That cocktail sounds tasty. A friend of mine was just at a convention where they had their own version of butterbeer- cream soda, butterscotch, and whipped cream. Sounds tasty and easy to make!
