Happy Things of My Day

1) all of the wonderful feedback I received for the holiday drabbles and artwork I've done so far. (I'm not sure I'll finish them all in time for Christmas though. Tomorrow things get kinda busy around my parent's house but we'll see. They will all get done though)

4) Reading "Marley and Me." It's always a good sign when a book makes you giggle out loud :)

The happiest thing to happen to me today was the phone call I got from my "big brother" Loki whose down in Texas with the Dark Cloud Leather Shop folks.

I miss him so much and I didn't get to see him before he left to go down there.

I will apparently get to see him in May though so I'm crossing my fingers that it works out.

He gave me updates on his life and stuff and I'm glad to hear that his life is going well.

to whomever nominated me at himym_awards (I have a sneaking suspicion I know who did it). My story "School Girl Slut-Up" was nominated for Best Barney and Best Smut.

I hope they're able to get the voting and stuff figured out. But when that goes up, I'll let you all know about it.

The happy thing of my day is that:

pandora.com finally added a Broadway-style station to their lineup.

I got to hear "Angel of Music" from Phantom of the Opera and I floated on a little heavenly cloud. I love that music and that show so darn much.

Now...it's on the "Circle of Life" from the Lion King musical. Not gonna lie...Elton John sings it better.

So it's Day 2 of the happy meme that dischargie tagged me with and there are actually a few things that have made me happy today:

1. Finally getting to see Monday's night "Chuck" and "Heroes" and getting to squee over Julia Ling (Anna Wu on "Chuck") in a sexy elf costume. God that girl is pretty. I need to make an icon of that or something.

2. Finding out that I can watch the Disney Channel Original Series: "Wizards of Waverly Place" on surfthechannel.com. I don't care if it elevates my dork status. I love that show :)

3. Getting my bad_swa entry posted.

My happy thing of the day was Gabrielle posting the next chapter in "Boats Against the Current."
