HIMYM: Metal Heart by the_spin (Barney/Robin)
Rating: up to NC-17.
This fic delivers on dialogue, characterization, story, pacing, and emotions. It's exactly the sort of fic that makes you believe in Barney/Robin and executes the development of a real relationship for them in a way the show itself seems to struggle achieving.

HIMYM: Five Times Marshall Takes Lily's Bra Off (And One Time he Can't) by caroline_shea (Marshall/Lily)
Rating: R
This fic has such perfect couple characterization and it's funny and frisky to boot.

BtVS: First Time For Everything by snowpuppies (Anya/Willow)
Rating: R
This fic is freaking hilarious and excellently written to boot.

BtVS: Closer by purplefeen (Spike/Willow)
Rating: NC-17
The writing is superb, the sex scenes are freaking hot, and the superb analysis of NIN's popular tune "Closer" makes it well worth every word.

I was playing catch up on fics today because I have a list of stories I've been wanting to read but never got a chance too.

One of those gems I found is called Breakable by girlpire and it's dark, chilling, smutty Frangelus goodness.

If you're a fan of that pairing like I am, you'll definitely want to check it out!

If you're a Spoz fan, an Oz fan, a Spike fan, or a male slash fan...I would encourage you to run (but try not too push or trample folks) to snowpuppies LJ. She wrote an amazingly poetic, dark piece called "Deconstruction in A Minor."
