We are crushed and created
Melted and made
Broken and built up in the very same way.

1) I have discovered a new TV addiction, courtesy of my Netflix Instant Queue. It's called "Make It Or Break It" and it's about four teen gymnasts training to be National/World/Olympic champions. It was inspired by the movie "Stick It." It ran on ABC Family for three seasons and just ended this year. I just finished the first season today and it amazes me just what sort of emotional draw this show has for me.
Also, as someone who's lived without cable most of her life (except the dorms for 2 years because it was free there), it really thrills me that for $8, I can watch shows I might never have known about or seen.
2) This Saturday, July 28th, 2012, marks the 9th anniversary of me being the proud owner of this LJ. This blog has truly transformed my life and I'm so grateful for the friends I've made, the stories I've shared, the life that I've documented.
I will definitely be doing something to celebrate this achievement since the last LJ anniversary that I even paid attention to was for my 6th (which, by the way, was awesome.) Odds are that I will probably do some sort of LJ-love post, but we'll see where the mood strikes. :D
