Fall/Autumn definitely ranks as my favorite season of the year, even though it leads into my least favorite season of the year (i.e. winter.) I love the way the leaves change colors. I love the smell of pumpkin and squash. I love Halloween - the costumes, the haunted houses, the mysteries. I love Thanksgiving - because, well, the food rocks and so does the family. Finally, I love curling up with a book on the couch. I wrap myself up in a soft, fuzzy blanket and enjoy a cup of warm tea with honey or cocoa. It's delightful.

I am one of those "pumpkin spice" girls. My favorite is probably the Pumpkin Spice Chai at the Percolator Coffee house followed by the Salted Caramel Pumpkin concrete mixer at Culver's.

Skating, skiing, tobogganing, building snowmen, snowforts, snowball fights, all the pretty pretty white and the Christmas lights...

I like the pretty white and Christmas lights. I don't like the slippery roads, the mountains of snow to shovel, and all the other things that make adulting hard in the winter.
