One of my former professors asked me to do a presentation on Buffy for her class. The students are being assigned an article and I get to talk about and show an episode. The following list are episodes referenced in the article and I'm curious to know what you think I should show. If you can think of another episode, please leave it in the comments but only choose ONE.

Thanks for all your help!

EDIT: Just as a heads up, I showed "Prophecy Girl" last year and the student who did it before me showed "Hush." I'd prefer not to show either one of these again.

I think for feminist theory I would do welcome to the hellmouth and address the conflicting presentations of the woman - meek and empty and shaped by trends, strong and courageous and independent. Discuss Buffy's desire to take the weaker, more empty role that society expects of her. Discuss the sense of responsibility that weighs her down. ....Really actually, you could use any episode to address those things....Homecoming would be good. But if the class is unfamiliar with the show, ep#1 won't leave them confused....though it is more superficial.

A few students at my school played The Body and Hush as part of a discussion on communication.

Well, I've got most of my presentation thought up already but those are definitely good points to mention.

My concern with the early seasons is that the characters are dealing with high school issues and my audience won't be able to relate to them. I will be providing season recaps so I don't think its going to be an issue.
