I feel like such a bargain shopper today 'cause I managed to pick up a copy of True Blood Season One for $17.99 at Target and saved myself nearly $35.00.

It's a show I haven't seen yet, but all the folks who know me seem to think it's a show made just for me. I'll let you know if they're right.

I tried True Blood when it first came out and couldn't get into it. Bill seemed like the most boring vampire ever. But that's just me. My guy friends thought it was great, which really surprised me. Let me know what you think of it - if it's one of those shows that gets better as it goes maybe I'll give it another shot.

Bill is kinda boring, but you know, Angel wasn't a ball of excitement either. Though I do need to say that David B. is way hotter than Stephen Moyer so Angel's going to win that round anyways.

But overall, I've been enjoying it now. I'd say it picks up as the season progresses.

Not only is Angel hotter, but Angelus - for me it was always about Angelus. SO much more interesting than Angel.

One of these days I will have to give it another try. I've finally finished all of Doctor Who, which was a task and a half. Time to work my way through another series, I guess.

Angelus was always a favorite of mine and I swear DB got infinitely more gorgeous and wicked when he donned the leather pants.
