I figure I don't write enough blogs and I also don't write enough lists (because I like lists, unless they're to-do lists because I don't care much for those.) So I'm gonna do that and I hope it works out well.

&hearts On my drive to internship on Friday, I discovered that the movie store I pass along the way was going out of business and everything must go. Naturally, I made the decision to stop back there on my way home and walked out the door with 8 movies, which I purchased for about $4 a piece. Two of those movies are going to my dad though because he asked me to pick them up for him (Hostel and Hostel II). Another two were given as presents to my boyfriend 'cause I love him (Geisha Assassin and Trick R'Treat). The remaining four belong to me and they are Ninja Cheerleaders, Charlie Bartlett, (500)Days of Summer, and Phoebe in Wonderland.

&hearts Nick came to visit on Friday and was very excited about his gifts (see above). He was so excited, in fact, that we went and got Japanese food. LOL. Just kidding. We were gonna do that anyways :P

&hearts On Saturday, we had our date day/night. We went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3-D. I really do with they'd called it Alice RETURNS to Wonderland but it's too late to put in that request now. Anyways, Nick and I were both pretty happy about it and Nick's a huge Lewis Carroll purist. He still thinks there needs to be live-action films that follow the stories in the books though and he'll wait patiently until Hollywood gives him that.

&hearts We ate Seafood Portofino at Olive Garden and it was amazing!

&hearts Today, we went over to Goodwill and I ended up buying the original Trivial Pursuit game. We were quite amused when the question "What did Otto Titzling invent?" came up (I'll give you a hint: it's really obvious.) But according to wikipedia, Otto is actually a fictional character, which is sad.

&hearts In other news, I have a test coming up on Wednesday that I need to start studying for. *sigh* At least, it's multiple choice!

I am with Nick on the purist thing. There was a version done in 1933 with Gary Cooper and W.C. Fields I'd like to see...supposedly it's being released on DVD soon.

Wow, I can't believe you got (500) Days of Summer for like four bucks! Jealous! I haven't seen it yet but really want to.

OMG Olive Garden sounds SO GOOD right now!

Glad you had a good weekend! :)

I really should! Especially since I haven't felt inspired by HIMYM this seasons and thus have been devoting all my fic writing to BtVS/AtS.

We were gonna watch it this weekend but it didn't pan out.

*hugs*

Hope you had a nice one too!

He was said to have invented the bra, but he was actually just a fictional character in a book.

Thanks.

And in the movie "Beaches". One of the musicals that Bette Midlers character is in has a song about Otto Titzling.

I never spend the money on movies, but I got a ton when my local Hollywood video went out of business. I love cheap good things. :)

Yay Charlie Bartlett! Such a cute movie. Kat Dennings and Anton are so cute, I wish they were dating irl, haha.

Phoebe in Wonderland... I loved that movie!

"Otto Titsling inventor and crout was nothing to get really worked up about. His inventions were failures, his future bee-leak, he fled to the opera at least twice a week...."

Sorry. I love Beaches.

I'm glad you had a good week love. :)
