Looking For Recipes
Jun. 21st, 2010 02:23 pmI'm looking to try some different things, mostly dinner type stuff, but desserts are fine too. So I'd like to ask anyone willing to share their favorite thing to make.
I'd prefer to keep the ingredients list somewhat cheap and easy as I'm not much of an advanced chef nor do we have a lot of grocery store options around here. But other than that, I'm pretty much open to anything you want to share.

on 2010-06-21 07:55 pm (UTC)boiled chicken(skinless, boneless or you can always do that part yourself after it's cooked)
cook broccoli(according to package directions..I use frozen just because it's faster and cheaper than fresh)
2 cans cream of soup(any kind you like, mushroom, chicken, broccoli...etc)
a cup of mayo(any kind, full or light)
shredded cheddar cheese
Mix the soup and mayo together in bowl
shred chicken in baking dish, strain broccoli and put in baking dish with chicken, pour soup/mayo mix over chicken/broccoli. Sprinkle cheese over top. bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 until bubbly.
Chocolate bon bons
1 package oreos(not the double stuffed)crushed until very fine
1 package cream cheese softened
3-4 big hershey bars(it has to be hersheys milk chocolate)
Mix crushed oreos and cream cheese until a ball is formed and you can no longer see any cream cheese. Roll into balls and dip in melted milk chocolate. Place on baking pan lined with wax paper, put in fridge until set. They can last up to a week and a half but I've never put that to the test. They don't last two days at my house :)
