I'm looking to try some different things, mostly dinner type stuff, but desserts are fine too. So I'd like to ask anyone willing to share their favorite thing to make.

I'd prefer to keep the ingredients list somewhat cheap and easy as I'm not much of an advanced chef nor do we have a lot of grocery store options around here. But other than that, I'm pretty much open to anything you want to share.

Brown a pound of ground beef and a huge chopped onion. Pour off any fat. Season with pepper and parsley. Stir in a can of Campbell's tomato soup, a 1/4 can of milk, and a can or 2 of drained green beans. Bake at 350 till bubbling. The original recipe said bake with cornbread on top of the casserole, but the bottom of the cornbread never fully bakes due to moisture. Do the cornbread in a separate pan. This is very tasty. Two cans of beans stretches the recipe. Other seasonings to taste before baking: a bit of chili powder or oregano, or whatever. It's easy, fast to put together, and everyone likes it. Not coq au vin, mind you, but tasty!

Chicken and Broccoli casserole

boiled chicken(skinless, boneless or you can always do that part yourself after it's cooked)
cook broccoli(according to package directions..I use frozen just because it's faster and cheaper than fresh)
2 cans cream of soup(any kind you like, mushroom, chicken, broccoli...etc)
a cup of mayo(any kind, full or light)
shredded cheddar cheese

Mix the soup and mayo together in bowl

shred chicken in baking dish, strain broccoli and put in baking dish with chicken, pour soup/mayo mix over chicken/broccoli. Sprinkle cheese over top. bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 until bubbly.

Chocolate bon bons
1 package oreos(not the double stuffed)crushed until very fine
1 package cream cheese softened
3-4 big hershey bars(it has to be hersheys milk chocolate)

Mix crushed oreos and cream cheese until a ball is formed and you can no longer see any cream cheese. Roll into balls and dip in melted milk chocolate. Place on baking pan lined with wax paper, put in fridge until set. They can last up to a week and a half but I've never put that to the test. They don't last two days at my house :)

Couscous Salad (cold dish)

*Cook up some couscous (or brown rice, if you don't have any), and let it cool.
*Toss in some chopped cucumber, some dried cranberries, some walnuts, some sliced black olives and some goat cheese, salt and pepper.
*Eat

Yet more couscous (hot dish)

*Instead of using water, cook couscous in orange juice.
*toast some pine nuts (or slivered almonds) in a pan
*add nuts, along with some raisins, chopped green onion, and crumbled feta, salt and pepper.
*eat

You can add some chick peas to either of those for some protien, which is what I do, since I don't eat meat.

Hope those ingredients are easy enough to come by for you! I tend to use a lot of couscous instead of other pastas or grains, because it's so easy and cooks super quick.

Chicken chest with lemon.

It's really easy to do.

Put a bit of butter in a pan... meld it. Once it melted, put salt in the pan.
Add your chicken chest to it. Once it's almost cooked (it'll take few minutes) Add lemon juice over all the chicken. Let's fry the lemon and Have a great dinner!

I'll send you some better recipes in a bit, but something super easy and tasty is "valentine potatoes" - dice up potatoes, put them in a greased baking pan, and pour zesty italian dressing over the potatoes. Put it in the oven at 325 degrees for an hour, and you have some deliciousness waiting for you :)

I give you the link to my recipes tag. :)

If you like pork, I recommend the Carnitas. A 2 to 3lb. pork roast will make enough for a week and you can use the leftovers to make BBQ pulled pork or whatever else strikes your fancy. We sometimes top baked potatoes with it. It's a very versatile dish.

I don't have many recipes that I use, but I am fond of stir-fry. First, coat the bottom of a pan with olive oil (or other food lubricant) until it pings. Then put in your food, thickest ones go in first so the can cook the longest. Add in spices as you see fit. Some people like it over noodles or rice. It's a dish that has infinite possibilities! When I need a recipe for something (or am just curious), I like to check cooks.com. You can even search for recipes with an ingredients list if you don't know what to make with them.
