Looking For Recipes
Jun. 21st, 2010 02:23 pmI'm looking to try some different things, mostly dinner type stuff, but desserts are fine too. So I'd like to ask anyone willing to share their favorite thing to make.
I'd prefer to keep the ingredients list somewhat cheap and easy as I'm not much of an advanced chef nor do we have a lot of grocery store options around here. But other than that, I'm pretty much open to anything you want to share.

*Toss in some chopped cucumber, some dried cranberries, some walnuts, some sliced black olives and some goat cheese, salt and pepper.
*Eat
Yet more couscous (hot dish)
*Instead of using water, cook couscous in orange juice.
*toast some pine nuts (or slivered almonds) in a pan
*add nuts, along with some raisins, chopped green onion, and crumbled feta, salt and pepper.
*eat
You can add some chick peas to either of those for some protien, which is what I do, since I don't eat meat.
Hope those ingredients are easy enough to come by for you! I tend to use a lot of couscous instead of other pastas or grains, because it's so easy and cooks super quick.
