Job Interviews and Haircuts
Sep. 10th, 2010 04:08 pmI had the interview with Voc. Rehab today and I want to say that it went well enough.
It was certainly a different interview experience than ones I've had before. I would have liked a little bit more time though. The interview itself was 25 minutes and that included their five questions (which was really more like 12 as each question had three sub-questions) and any questions I might have for them. Unlike my Aprilaire interview where I spent at least half the time allotted answering the interviewers my questions, I had about three minutes to toss out two questions (one about supervision and one woman seemed very eager to dodge, though I'm entirely sure why since it's never caused me problems in an interview before... *shrugs* Oh well. The guy seemed more than happy to oblige me by talking about how knowledge, skills, and answers to the questions they gave were important aspects of the position.
Just in case you're curious, that question was: What are three qualities that could be attributed to success in this position?
Anyways, it will take them 2-3 weeks or so before I find out anything, but after all the "hurry up and wait" stuff I've done so far, that seems like a cake walk.
In other news, I got a hair cut today. I'm not sure how I feel about the curliness (which is probably fine since I don't own a curling iron anyways) and the length is definitely shorter than I usually go, but I think I can make it work. :)

That's all for now, folks.
