I'm deciding to focus on the positive today.
1. Eating shrimp egg rolls.
2. Seeing The King's Speech for $5 US and believing that it does live up to the hype. Colin Firth absolutely deserved the Best Actor award. Geoffrey Rush was bloody charming. And Timothy Spall was in something that didn't have him sporting a huge wart. :)
3. Finding the one gas station in town that sells Honest Tea products.
4. Spencer Reid and Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds. (I'm trying to watch them in order now instead of catching the marathons on the ION channel. I'm up to episode 8 of Season 2.)
5. Reading my book (Angel of Death Row: My Life As A Death Penalty Defense Lawyer by Andrea Lyons.)
As an extra bonus, here's a joke I stumbled upon yesterday that made me amused.
A unionized public employee, a member of the Tea Party, and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies...looks at the tea partier and says, "Watch out for that union guy, he wants a piece of your cookie."

on 2011-03-02 02:10 am (UTC)Elle is an interesting gal. I don't blame her for shooting that un-sub in cold blood, though I do wish the episodes that followed made a mention of her. I find it hard to believe that they all just moved on from it.

on 2011-03-02 02:10 am (UTC)I recommend the R-rated film though, as I hear they are remaking it into a PG-13 film.

Hahaha, that joke must be making the rounds. One of my co-workers sent that to us this morning! :P
