In other news, I had an interview with one of the gas stations in town this morning. For the most part, I'd say it went well. Though I was none too thrilled about having to solve a worksheet of math problems (seriously, guys, I loathe math.) By some stroke of luck though, I only got one wrong so that made me feel pretty good about myself. They also seemed to be somewhat accepting of the fact that my weekends in June are booked solid...or at least, they pretended to be. I guess I'll find out next week if they really are okay with that. If they're not, then oh well. It's no big deal if I don't get this one.

Ugh, math. You know my exit exam for my communications major had two math questions on it? Why do they do this to us? (I mean, it makes a bit more sense if you have to work a cash register, I suppose, but still.) But I'm glad the interview went well, at least!

Now is this gas station full service? Would you be working the pumps? Because then I could understand the math problems... the gas station near my house is full service and the attendants have to give the customers their change on the spot from the money in their pockets.

However... the last job I had as a cashier they made me take a test and there was a lot of math on it. So I guess it tracks. I just don't understand it because... isn't that what the register does?

Even though this job isn't as important to get as the others... I'll still wish you good luck.
