Long Time, No See, LJ.

Today was the very first day that I was able to comment on entries and I can safely say I've caught up with most of the entries I've missed (since some of you were lucky duck enough to get on LJ a lot more than I did this week.) I did have to bookmark the fanfic posted though and will go back to reading it when I have the time.

And now for some updates in bullet-point form:

1. On Monday, I used the biggest paper shredder I've ever seen. Damn thing took up the whole room and you fed the paper into it via a conveyor belt.
Appearances can be deceiving aka this picture is TINY but it shows you what the thing looked like .
Cleaning it up after a bag filled was the worst. There was so much paper dust and I could feel it irritating my lungs with every breath. Boo.

2. I had my last day at the internet-less temp. job on Tuesday. It went pretty well. I finished up all the tasks for the HR department with an hour to spare so they sent me down to the accounting department to help them box up some files. Fun. Fun. (But not the kind of fun you have on Friday when you're looking forward to the weekend. :P)

3. I finished Bossypants by Tina Fey and freaking loved it!

4. I'm one disc away from finishing Boy Meets World Season 4. I really hope I can finish the series (Seasons 5 and 6) by August 31st so that way I'll have seen them all before Netflix ups their prices.

5. Nick is heading up to Lake Minocqua on Saturday for a week-long vacation with his family. Normally, I get to go too, but given the limited hours I work I figured it would be better for me to stay behind. :/ It'll be weird having the house to myself for a week, but I'm sure I'll manage.

I had the same problem with not posting at all. The thought of missing deadlines...

Boo, hiss for paper dust. I think it's almost as bad as sawdust.

I haven't seen Boy Meets World in forever.

Just think of all the things you can get done without Nick there...or you know lounge around and watch all the shows you want to without having to share the remote.(Do I sound a tad jealous?)

It's been awhile since I've used it. Figured it was appropriate though. :)

I've had the luxury of being able to get the DVDs of Boy Meets World via Netflix. It's been quite fun watching them in order, even if I've been going a little crazy with some of the continuity flaws.

I am looking forward to watching So You Think You Can Dance live next week.

Me too!! All this LJ fail has made me way too attached to Tumblr. And how come the FB I don't give a shit about it always running and the LJ and Tumblr I can't live without keep crashing on me every week? *pouts*

If I were to rate Boy Meets World on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it in 9.0. I'm quite certain that number is biased, based on the pure fact that this show is from my childhood (you know, back when Friday nights were the best night of TV.) It's dorky, nerdy, funny, family-oriented, and sweet as hell. :)
