So my Kindle Keyboard screen decided to start displaying lines and squares that hid 75% of the text. I followed the trouble-shooting procedure (slide power button, hold 20 seconds, then release.) I also stuck at my charger. Didn't make the problem go away.
So then I called Amazon Kindle Support and color me impressed.
They're sending me a replacement Kindle, free of charge, one day delivery. All I have to do is the print the shipping label off and send the broken one back.
I'm certainly annoyed by the fact that I have to put reading The Hangman's Daughter on hold until Thursday, but I'm quite glad that Amazon seems to have really supportive technical support staff.
